Mr. Fred Hampton Hartsfield, age 74, of Alexander City, Alabama departed this life Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama. He was born June 21, 1949 in Cartersville, Georgia a son of the late John Hampton and Betty Elizabeth Hartsfield. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Stanley. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Lori Hartsfield of Villanow, GA; nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Maston Jackson officiating. The American Legion Post 112 in charge of military honors.
