Mr. Fred Newton Baker Jr., age 72, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the local hospital. He was born December 28, 1948 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Newton Baker Sr., brother, Lloyd Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Baker of the residence; mother, Lorraine Elrod of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Teddy and Lynn Baker of Cartersville, GA; Brandon Whitmore of Eton, GA; daughter, Crystal Ashcraft of Chatsworth, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Wanda Baker of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; grandchildren, Kelsie Rogers, Corbin Ashcraft, Cambreigh Pettigrew all of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday October 2, 2021.
