Ms. Frankie Elaine Janow, age 53, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the local hospital. Frankie was born January 23, 1960 in Dalton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, James V. Pettyjohn, and sisters, Wanda Hicks, Linda Hayes, Shirley Keith and Patricia Weir.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Hicks Pettyjohn of Rocky Face, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Corey and Jessica Cole, Nicholas Cole; grandson, Charlie Cole all of Dalton, GA; sister, Margie Falkowski of Rocky Face, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Frankie Elaine Janow will be held Thursday May 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Andy Coker officiating. She will be laid to rest in the United Memorial Gardens with Carl Howard, Adam Holt, Shon Godfrey, Ricky Talley, Brandon Paulsen and Greg Falkowski serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday May 8, 2013 and after 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday until the service hour.
