Mr. Frank Marvin Cross, age 68, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, August 10, 2014 at the local hospital. Frank was born October 12, 1945 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Frank William and Betty Rea Vineyard Cross. He was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Marvin Cross, Jr. and brother, Robert Dale Cross. Frank was a truck driver at Textile Rubber for over twenty eight years.

He is survived by his wife and companion for over twenty-four years, Dianne Johnson Cross of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Paul "Tommy" and Stacy Cross of Rocky Face, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Dianne Bigham of Cohutta, GA, Frankie Dianne Cross of Tunnel Hill, GA, Wanda Cole, Tina and Bobby Shoemaker all of Chatsworth, GA, Lynn and Cecil White of Trenton, GA; sisters, Mildred Gunner of Dalton, GA, Linda Cross of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, George Cross, Richard Cross and Roger Cross all of Dalton, GA, James Cross of Rocky Face, GA; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Mr. Frank Marvin Cross on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
