Mrs. Alma Frances Robinson, age 93, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning at her residence, July 13, 2024, surrounding by her loving family.

Frances was born September 12, 1930, in Gordon County, Georgia, the youngest child of the late, Lee Jackson and Dora D. Dean Miller.  Frances was also preceded in death by her husband of seventy-five years, Rufus Earl Robinson, who died May 5, 2022, her sisters, Mattie Sue and Tab Seritt, Gertrude and Kiker Peterson, brother, A.B. and Mamie Miller, and nieces, Polly Gilbert and Pat Pack.

Frances worked many years at West Point Pepperell and retired from Shaw Industries. She was a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church.

Frances loved her family, fishing, and yard sales (with her Bestie Marie Faith) and gardening. Her family said she could make the best dressing, was extremely sweet, quiet and loved her grandbabies.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda and Lloyd Smith, Susan Robinson all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Kerry Robinson and Brandy Luffman of Rocky Face, GA, Kim and Tim Maxwell, Jennifer and Billy  McNabb all of Dalton, GA; great-grandchildren, Jacob Robinson and  Sarah Dunlap, Ashley and Jeremy Seabolt and Alyssa Simmons; great-great-grandchildren, Sofia Seabolt, Jeremy "Bub" Seabolt, and Quentin Simmons; niece, Peggy Seritt of Sugar Valley, GA; nephew, Tony and Sharon Miller of Calhoun, GA; special friends, Judy Pair, Marie Faith and Betty Brock of Dalton, GA, Melissa Smith, Donna Rickett of Calhoun, GA, and Donnie Vick of Chatsworth, GA; special caregiver, Terri Betton of Dalton, GA; several other relatives.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Robinson will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at her home.
