Mrs. Frances Carolyn Miolen, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, July 31, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born February 12, 1943, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Bradford Lee and Thelma Aleen Frady Teasley.  She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Titus Harrod, sisters, Betty Barbara Sue Teasley, and Louise Darnell, brothers, James Teasley, J.E. "Jess" Teasley and J.B. "Johnny" Teasley.

Carol was a 1960, graduate of North Whitfield High School and received an associate's degree in business from Dalton State College. She was retired from Shaw Industries where she worked for over thirty years. Bobby said she was a wonderful woman, a precious wife and was his sweetheart since the day he met her.

Carol is survived by the love of her life, Bobby G. Miolen, Sr., of the residence and would have celebrated their sixty-third wedding anniversary on January 2, 2025; daughter and son-in-law, Judy C. and Jeff Harrod; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby G. and Terrie Miolen, Jr. all of Dalton, GA; sister, Linda Smith of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Richard and Jenni Harrod, Jason and Brooke Harrod, Justin and Santana Harrod, Jennifer and Ken Henderson, and Patrick and Lucky Miolen; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Olivia, Riley, Kade, Silas, Jayda, Paisley, Ava, Zoey, Lyla, Gaige, Chloe, Brenna, Konner and Kendallyn; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Carolyn "Carol" Miolen will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Dewayne Smith and her son, Bobby G. Miolen, Jr., officiating.  She will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with Patrick Miolen, Richard Harrod, Jason Harrod, Justin Harrod, Ken Henderson and Silas Harrod honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Friday until the service hour.
