Mrs. Frances Ellen Ensley 82 of Cohutta, GA departed this life Thursday evening December 6, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 23, 1936 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Clyde and Ethel Haygen Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her brother, W.C. Lewis.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim Ensley of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Rhonda Ensley; daughter, Denise Ensley of Cohutta, GA; brother, Carl Lewis of Tennessee; grandchildren, Megan and Jillian Ensley.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Ellen Ensley will be held Sunday December 9, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Johnny Moore and Ernest Ensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Cohutta, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
