Mrs. Frances Martha Dyer, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the local hospital. Frances was born February 22, 1945 in Murphy, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Ross and Virgie Green Hedden. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Hedden, and brothers, Hilyard Hedden, Archie Hedden, Ronnie Hedden, Beecher Hedden.
She is survived by her husband of over fifty three years, David Dyer of Dalton , GA; son, Clark Eddie Dyer of Dalton GA; sisters-in law, Mildred Woods, of Murphy, North Carolina; Deloris Guthrie of Murphy, North Carolina; Frances Anderson of Dalton, GA and Nancy Hedden of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Martha Dyer will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating. She will be laid to rest at Dunnagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
