Mr. Floyd Bethel Carrell Jr. age 72, of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday November 12, 2019 at the local hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 31, 1947 in Forman, Arkansas a son of the late Floyd Bethel Carrell Sr. and Lovie Akins Carrell. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, MarRene Carrell, and sister, Parilee Bond.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wilma Darlene Bond Carrell of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Lora Carrell of Ringgold, GA; daughters, Paula Stewart of Tunnel Hill, GA, Gwen Carrell of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Doran Carrell, Raymond and Sharon Carrell, Paul and Regina Carrell all of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Claude Cartledge of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Sarah and Brad Barron, Michael Stewart, Hannah Pruitt, Rebekah Carrell; great grandchild, Sophia Barron; nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Floyd Bethel Carrell Jr. will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Charlie Pratt and Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his daughter in the West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.
