Mr. Floyd J. Blackwell, age 77 of Dalton, GA departed this life, Saturday August 10, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. Floyd was born December 21, 1941 in Murray County, the son of the late Carl Blackwell and Ollie Bain. Floyd was also preceded in death by his sister Edith Brewer.

Floyd is survived by his daughter, Michelle Babineaux; grandson, Josh Babineaux; brother and his spouse, Roy and Edna Blackwell; sisters and brother-in-law, Eloise Mauldin, Dorothy and John Manley; special nephew, Russell Blackwell, and other nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
