Mr. Fitz Herman Dickson, V, age 22, of Villanow, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 in Ringgold, Georgia.  Fitzie was born February 29, 1996 in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Kay Stratton Dickson Johnson, October 11, 2018, also his great-grandparents, Daisy Ann Dickson, Fitz Herman Dickson, II, great-great-grandparents, Raymond E. and Mary J. Privee, aunt, Janet Daisy Dickson.

Fitzie was a 2015 graduate of Ringgold High School in Ringgold, Georgia, and was employed by Cabela's in Ringgold, Georgia.

Fitzie was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt, an amazing artist with charcoal and pencil drawings. He was small in stature at 4'11" but was the big brother and protector of his siblings.  He loved his sister and brothers more than anything in this world. He was stubborn to a fault and lived life on his own terms and we were glad and privileged to go along for the ride.

He is survived by his father, Ret. SSG Fitz Herman Dickson, IV, and Alexanderareese Tolbert both of Southside, TN; sister, Amaya Dickson; brothers, Uriah Johnson and Adrian Johnson; grandparents, Ted and Ann Stratton all of Villanow, GA, Fitz Herman Dickson, III, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Glenda Ann Dickson of New York, NY; great-grandparents, Richard Schmelz and Gladys Roberts; aunts and uncles, Veronica Ann and Anthony Hernandez of Long Island, NY, Terrance Charles and Juliet Dickson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Dale and Shomalee Stratton of Dawnville, GA, and Sam and Beth Stratton of Dalton, GA; several cousins and other relatives.

To celebrate the life of Mr. Fitz Herman Dickson, V, will be held Monday evening, November 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Chaplain Bill Holland and family and friends sharing thoughts and memories.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 5:00 p.m. Monday until the service hour.
