Mrs. Faye Nell Kenemer, age 81 of Cumming, GA, and formerly of Dalton, GA, wife of the late Thomas "Tommy" Kenemer ,departed this life Monday September 4, 2017 at the Lanier Place in Cumming, GA. Faye was born April 16, 1936 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late James and Ada Mathis. She was also preceded in by her brothers, Elwin and Glenn Mathis; nephew, Gary Mathis.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Kenemer, wife of the late Deforest Kenemer, nieces and nephews, Patti Kenemer and Randall Bailey of Cumming, GA, DeForest and JoAn Kenemer of Ft. Mill, SC, Kelly and Angela Kenemer of Canton, GA, Glenn and Shelly Mathis of Oklahoma, James W. and Sherry Mathis, Evelyn and Keith Switzer, Susan Mathis, all of Texas; James A. Mathis, Cheryl and Edward Osland all of South Carolina.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Faye Nell Kenemer will be held Friday September 8, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Chaplain Danny Park officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
