Mrs. Faye Greene, age 81, of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life, Monday, September 5, 2022, at her residence. She was born April 18, 1941, in Calhoun, GA, a daughter of the late Reverend Charlie and Bulah Pack Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Greene, son, Daniel Clinton Greene Sr., and grandson, Daniel Clinton Greene Jr., brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Williams, her twin, Bobby Ray Williams, Horace and Louise Williams, Emmitt Williams, sister and brothers-in-law, Glady and Grady Jackson, John Nicholson, Riley "Bud" Shoemaker, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy Greene and Robena Powell McBryant, brothers-in-law, Steve Greene, Bobby Dollar, and sister-in-law, Rena Dollar.

She survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ricky Wheat of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Marcelle Nicholson of Chatsworth, GA, Nellie Shoemaker of Chatsworth, GA; sisters-in-law, Willene Williams of Dalton, GA, Edna "Sis" Williams of Calhoun, GA;  Nancy Dollar of Varnell, GA, Johnnie "Tuttle" and Sam Miles of Resaca, GA; brothers-in-law, Bill Dollar of Fairmount, GA, Tony and Lynn Greene, Randy and Toni Greene, Cliff and Cathy Greene all of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jason and Robin Wheat, Dustin and Mary Beth Wheat, Selena and Damein Reiniche; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Ansley, Justus, Ian, Sawyer, Lucy, Gavin, Evan, Gracelyn, Knox; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Faye Greene will be held Thursday September 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Freewill Church of Jesus Christ with her nephews, Pastor Michael Nicholson and Reverend Gary Shoemaker officiating. She will be laid to rest beside beloved husband in the church cemetery with Ricky Wheat, Jason Wheat, Dustin Wheat, Tyler Wheat, Cody Wheat, Justus Wheat and Ian Wheat honored to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
