Mrs. Faye Elizabeth Fox, age 74, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Tuesday January 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1943 in Calhoun, TN, a daughter of the late William and Mary Burnette Hatcher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Roy Fox, brothers, Bill Hatcher, sisters, Hazel and Lillian Hatcher. She was teacher at the Dalton Public Schools for 36 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzy Thomas of Cohutta, GA, grandchildren, Hannah Thomas, Tanner Thomas of Athens, GA, Jake Thomas of Memphis, TN.
At her request she will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Deo Clinic or the Friends of the Library.
