Mrs. Fae B. Rhudy, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, April 7, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Rhudy was born February 5, 1930 in Rossville, GA. Jessie Fae was the daughter of the late Eunice Dean and Sanford "June" Blair of Cleveland, TN. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herbert D. Rhudy, a brother, Coy Cleatus Blair, grandparents, Josephine Pilgrim and William Levi Dean, Fanny Hayes and William "Billy" Blair, great grandparents, Emily Haney and John Pilgrim. Fae's favorite hymn was "A Beautiful Life" which conveyed the message she tried to live her life by every day. " Each day I'll do a golden deed.."

Mrs. Rhudy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa J. Rhudy and Scott A. Hambright; sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert D. Rhudy Jr. and Tracy, Sanford W. Rhudy and Misty; grandchildren, Heather M. Dunn, Kenneth L. Rhudy, Jessica A. Rhudy; great grandchildren, Sarah Wallace and Abigail Russell.

At her request she will be cremated and a private family service will be held later.
