Everlee
Crider
Aug 24, 2024 — Jul 2, 2026
Little Everlee Reign Crider, age 1 year, 10 months, and 8 days, precious infant daughter of Keira Baker and Braiden Crider of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday evening, July 2, 2026, at Children's Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, Tennessee, surrounded by the love of her family.
Everlee was born on August 24, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Though she was born with septo-optic dysplasia and was almost completely blind, she never allowed her diagnosis to define her. She filled every room with joy, laughter, and a contagious happiness that touched the hearts of everyone blessed to know her. Her beautiful smile and sweet giggle could brighten even the darkest day.
Everlee delighted in the simple things that brought her comfort and happiness. She loved her pacifier and her favorite Boppy half-moon pillow. She was known for her playful beatboxing with her tongue, making all kinds of happy noises, and keeping everyone entertained with her vibrant personality. She especially loved tugging on her granddaddy's beard, teasing her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and would laugh her biggest laugh whenever she watched her cousins and friends getting into mischief. She found joy in music, exploring different fabrics and textures with her hands, and gently feeling the faces of those she loved. Although she could not fully see the world around her, she experienced it with a heart full of wonder, love, and happiness.
Everlee's life, though far too brief, was a remarkable testimony of unconditional love and selflessness. Even in passing, she continued to give to others through the precious gift of organ donation, offering hope and healing to other families. In her short time on earth, she gave far more love than she ever asked in return, leaving behind a legacy that will live on through the lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Stephanie Crider; great-grandmother, Melinda Baker; great-grandmother, Diane Sherman; and great-grandparents, Tom and Annie Crider; aunts, Evelyn Baker, Reign Baker, and Karen Payne; uncle, Tom Jr.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her loving parents, Keira Baker and Braiden Crider of Rocky Face, Georgia; grandparents, Sheena and James Baker, and Robert Crider; step-grandpa, Phil Sherman; great-grandparents, James Baker, Martin and Linda Panzica; aunts and uncles, Abrianna Crider, Bailey Crider, Holten Crider, Jasmine Baker, Corbin Baker, and Ivan Baker, Daniel and Ashley Oliver, and Jason Panzica, David and Betty Crider, Herbie Crider, Don and Christy Crider, Bryce Payne, Bonnie Crider, Jennifer Sherman and Amber Sherman; cousins, Jailynn Panzica, Damion Panzica, Carlie Smith, Kenzy Smith, Madison Smith, Gavin Hardin, and Bo Hardin; along with many other loving family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
