Mrs. Evelyn Louise Ray Baker, age 75, of Rome, Georgia, departed this life Friday, February 21, 2014, at Quinton Memorial Health Care surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born September 7, 1938 in Rome, Georgia, a daughter to the late Felix and Cordia Ray. She was also preceded in death by her husband Buford Roberts. She was a member of the American Legion Post #5 ladies auxiliary.

Evelyn is survived by a daughter Teresa Roberts of Tunnel Hill, GA, sons and daughters in law; Michael and Deborah Roberts of Kissimmee, FL, Stephen and Vicki Roberts of St. Cloud, FL and Gregory and Karan Roberts of Chula, GA. She is also survived by a sister Margaret Tregaskis of Chattanooga, TN and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Evelyn Louise Baker will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Oaknoll Memorial Cemetery in Rome, Georgia with Reverend Eulos Brown officiating. There will be no visitation.
