Mrs. Willene Eula Bagley Morgan, age 92, of Calhoun, Georgia, went to her eternal heavenly home on Tuesday morning, February 15, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Willene was born on December 19, 1929 to the late Ervin and Beaulah Bagley. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Morgan; her special companion Harlan Evans, sisters; Betty Williams, Margaret Wilson, niece; Linda Seabolt, Nephews; Billy Williams and Michael Williams.

Willene spent most of her adult life in the Tunnel Hill area before moving to Calhoun after the death of her husband. Willene and Jack were some of the first pioneers to introduce the Chenille Bedspread Mfg. business. They owned and operated Morgan Chenille Mfg. for many years in what was called at that time "Peacock Alley" that stretched from the Dalton area along old Hwy 41 northward. It was always an exciting time when people from up north would come down during spring and Christmas season and buy all the chenille products to take back up north for resale.

Willene was a sweet, kind, God loving, beautiful petite lady. What she lacked in stature, she made up for with her style. She was a feisty fireball who made and lived by her own rules! She loved to dance at the senior centers.

She is survived by her Aunt Ruby Baggett, Sister-in-law Nancy Morgan Tidwell, nieces; Vickie Williams Marcotte (Doug), Sandra Williams McFather (Ed), Beverly Hall Duncan (Grady), Amelia Cope, Jenifer Bates, Kathy Hall, Krista Reed, Jodi Dennard, Cheryl Ownbey, and Teresea Shepard nephews; Kenneth Hall (Barb) and Glenn Wilson (Tammy), Jim and Terry Obryant, John and Richard Morgan, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers; Dee Hedden, Tania Quinn, Vonda York, and her great niece Pam Blair who were so good and kind to her this last year.

Also, a special thank you to Homespun Hospice for the great care they provided.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Willene Eula Bagley Morgan will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend A.J. Waters officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fains Cemetery in Calhoun, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Saturday February 19, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
