Mr. Eugene Bryan Silvers, age 87, departed this life, Monday August 15, 2017 at his home. Eugene was born October 8, 1929 in Ringgold, GA, the son of the late Talmadge Silvers and Lottie Bryan Silvers. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Jean Silvers King, brothers, James Richard Silvers; sisters, Billie Petty, Martha Denton. Eugene spent many years working for L & N and CSX railroad.

Mr. Eugene Bryan Silvers is survived by his wife, Duma Heard Silvers, brothers, Robert (Barbara) Silvers; sisters, Nina Mattox, Jane (Chuck) Frye; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held Thursday August 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Celebration Mausoleum at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Dalton Masonic Lodge # 105 performing graveside rites and the Honor Guard of American Legion Post 112 performing the military rites.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Star Hospice to provide for indigent needs of hospice patients present and future.
