Mr. Eugene T. Fouts, age 79, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Friday evening, February 28, 2020 at Gordon Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 19, 1940 in Oakman, GA a son of the late Cleve and Maggie Hardy Fouts. He was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Fouts, gradchild, Kassidy Helmholtz, several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ruth Linn Fouts of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Bill Couch of Resaca, GA, Sonja and Keith Helmholtz of Ooltewah, TN, Heather and Kevin Goforth of Powder Springs, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Betty Fouts of Spring Place, GA, Raymond and Wilma Fouts of Calhoun, GA; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Eugene T. Fouts will be held Sunday March 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Burgner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
