Ms. Etta "Louise" Thomas, age 64 of Rossville, GA, departed this life, Tuesday June 8, 2021 at Parkridge Medical Hospital. Louise was born on May 17, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hurbert and Bernice Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Cody Duncan Hughes. Louise love to bake and watching all of the cooking shows.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Mary and Heath Hughes of Rossville, GA; brothers, Jake and Edna Duncan of Chatsworth, GA, David and Carolyn Duncan of Dalton, GA, Duane Duncan of Chatsworth, GA, Jimmy and Andrea Duncan of Dalton; grandchildren, Cameron Hughes, Caylee Hughes and many nieces and nephews.

The service to celebrate the life of Louise will be held Thursday June 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from Buffalo United Baptist Church 5718 River Road Huntsville, TN with Reverend Carlie Duncan officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Duncan Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
