Mrs. Ethel Lee Williamson, age 88, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday morning, May 28, 2013 at her home. Ethel was born January 11, 1925 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Gussie Crider Henderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Williamson and a son, Larry Williamson, brothers, John, George and Otis Henderson and sisters, Pearl Brewer, Pauline Brewer, Annie Brumbelow and Nora Lee Freeman.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Hunt of Rocky Face, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Cathy Williamson of Amirillo, TX; sisters, Minnie Ruth Quarles, Millie Boyd and Louise Brock; six grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ethel Lee Williamson will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donnie Trammell officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
