Ernest Robert McBryar, age 43, of Rocky Face, GA, departed this life, Thursday December 26, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident.

Ernest was born in Dalton, Georgia on March 25, 1976.  He was the son of the late George McBryar and Hilda Lofty McBryar.  At the time of his death he was employed as a Truck Driver with Sierra Express.  Ernest proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.  He will be remembered as the brut and steadfast man that he was.  Ernest was the kind of man who began every single morning making his own bed to start each day with a sense of accomplishment.

He is survived his fiancé, Sabrina "Bridgett" Jackson; his children, Devin and his wife Kelsi Sturgill of Eton, Damien McBryar of Dalton, Dakota and his wife Kylie McBryar of Dalton, Diezel McBryar of Athens, Georgia, Aiden McBryar of Dalton, and Allie Thompson of Rocky Face; children of his fiancé, Jessy Lee and her husband Brandon Hill, Sky Wooten, Angelic Wooten all of Dalton; grandchildren, Amren McBryar and Brentley Hill; and a number of cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Ernest McBryar will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Ponders Melrose Chapel at 5:00 PM with his cousin Stephen Lofty officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
