Mr. Ermon "Junior" Mulkey Jr., age 65 of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1955 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Ermon Mulkey Sr. and Margaret Lee Millsap Mulkey. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Teela Mulkey. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and papa. He was an employee of Shaw Industries for the past 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Long Mulkey of the residence; son, Ermon "Bud" Mulkey; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Torres Jackson, Alicia Mulkey and Nathan Franklin of Dalton, GA; brothers, James and Gilda Mulkey of Wildwood, GA, Berry and Rosie Mulkey, Tony and Carol Mulkey of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Debra Mulkey and Tommy of Resaca, GA, Anita and Ron Carter of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Tristen Knight, Jasmine Mendez, Mia Jackson, Allie Mulkey Franklin; brothers-in-law, Artie Long, Randy and Manesa Long, Anthony Long; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ermon "Junior" Mulkey Jr. will be held Monday December 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
