Mr. Enoch "Steve" Owenby, 68 of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Saturday August 1, 2020 at the local hospital. He was born December 17, 1951 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Frank and Mabel Cobb Owenby. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Brenda Owenby, sister, Diann Owenby.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Gillilan Owenby of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, William Owenby of Dalton, GA; Glenn and Kerry Jo Owenby of Cartersville, GA; sisters, Kathy Owenby of Eton, GA, June Rogers of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Patrick Owenby, Brendan Owenby, Anna Owenby, Kaden Owenby, Landrie Owenby.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Enoch Steve Owenby will be held Tuesday August 4, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. He will be laid to rest beside his first wife at the Eton Cemetery.

Due to the national health crisis, crowd limitations may be enforced, and social distancing is encouraged. For anyone attending services please wear a mask for the safety of everyone.
