Mrs. Emma Jo Roberson 76, of Calhoun departed this life Thursday morning January 31, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Emma Jo was born September 9, 1942 in Dawsonville, Georgia, a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Beulah McCollum Cronon.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rena Roberson, a son, David Ray Tucker, brothers, Roy Cronon and Paul Cronon, and sisters, Dimple "Dee" Walker and Gladys Kerr.

Emma Jo was a member of Salacoa Creek Baptist Church. She worked many years as a CNA at Calhoun Health Care and in housekeeping at the Red Roof Inn.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Rick and Julie Tucker, Geraldine Kitchings, Tammy and Jim Dockery, Randy and Theresa Tucker, Crystal and Jackie Craig, Amanda and Adam Vondenberger and Jamie Roberson; grandchildren, Jamie and Kim Tucker, Christina and Josh Knox, Summer and JJ Craven, Danny and Jessica Dougherty, Eric and Ansley Craig, Brandon and Jarica Craig, Matthew and Megan Craig, Tiffany Collum, Shelly and Morgan Payne, Tristan Clayton, Kristen and Eli Chapman, Danny Walter, Jeffery Mulkey, Billy Davis and Robert Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Doyle Roland of Wachula, FL; many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Emma Jo Roberson will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Troy Hall officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Campbell Cemetery with Billy Davis, Eric Craig, Matthew Craig, Robert Davis, Danny Walter and Jamie Roberson honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
