Mr. Emiliano Lopez, age 21, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday afternoon, May 13, 2021 at his home.  Emiliano was born September 26, 1999 in Dalton, Georgia.  He was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a 2018 graduate of Southeast High School. Emiliano loved the outdoors and building projects.  He was very close to his little dog, Lola.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Soto.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Maria and Jose Luis Castillo of Dalton, GA; sister, Elissa Lopez and Edward Chaplin of Philadelphia, PA; grandfather, Andres Soto of Dalton, GA; aunts and uncles, Rosario and Luis Magana, Isabel Pimentel, Amanda and Spencer Singleton, Andres and Jade Soto, and Rafael and Corina Soto all of Dalton, GA; and his little jack Russell terrier, Lola; many cousins who loved him dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 17, 2021 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating.  His cousins and uncles will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 10:00 o'clock a.m. Monday morning until the service hour.
