Mr. Emanuel Phillips age 52, of Crandall, GA, departed this life Sunday June 2, 2013 at his residence. Emanuel was born August 4, 1960 in Scott County, Tennessee, a son of the late Monroe and Joan Phillips.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Lane Phillips of the residence; children, Emily Dean Phillips of Crandall, GA, Caleb Emanuel Phillips of Cohutta, GA, Dustin Lee and Elizabeth Ashley Hicks of Pass Christian, MS, Charla Aleen Horton of Crandall, GA; grandson, Memphis Wade Hicks; numerous friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Emanuel Phillips will be held Thursday June 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend John Bagley officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday.
