Mrs. Elizabeth M. Riddle age 84 of Dalton GA, departed this life Thursday November 21, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born December 22, 1934 in Hollywood, AL, a daughter of the late William Chap and Julia Adams Hampton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Dean Riddle, brothers, Preston, William, James and Leonard Hampton, sisters, Frances Jones, Mary Lou Smith.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Robin Riddle of Ringgold, GA, Jewel Riddle Jr. of Dalton, GA, Tom and Lisa Riddle of Sevierville, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jessie Coley, Joyce and Joey Jones of Dalton, GA; brother, David Hampton of Alabama; sisters, Hazel Hampton of Calhoun, GA, Barbara Spencer of Kentucky, Beatrice Nichols, Doris Hampton of Dalton, GA, Min Lau Tritton of Georgia; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Elizabeth M. Riddle will be held Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Coffee Cemetery in Jackson, AL at 2:00 p.m. central time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
