Mr. Edward Lee Johnson, age 60, of Brandon, Mississippi, departed this life Sunday January 12, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Edward was born on October 23, 1953 in Ball Ground, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Helen Callahan Johnson, brother, Jimmy Johnson, a sister Sheila Phillips. He was also preceded by his wife Teresa Pam Johnson.

Edward is survived by son and daughter in law, Matt and Brandi Johnson of Madison, MS, daughter and son in law, Rebecca and Steve Stanley of Talking Rock, GA. brothers, Calvin Johnson of Dawsonville, GA, David Johnson of Nashville, TN, sisters, Carol Perry of Union City, TN, Teresa Goode of Dawsonville, GA, Barber Ross of Alto, GA. He had seven grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Edward Lee Johnson will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Reverend Gene Tatum officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Lake Forest Memorial Park Cemetery in Jasper with Brent Goode, Cameron Hughes, Trent Goode, Andy Perry, Chris Meissner, Justin Brown and Doyal Williams will serve as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday at Ponders Funeral home in Fairmount and 12:00 pm Saturday until the hour of service.
