Mrs. Edna Mae Pickard, age 97 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Saturday May 9, 2020 at the local hospital. She was born July 8, 1922 in Harriman, TN. She lived a long and eventful life and will be greatly missed by family, friends and dialysis and other medical caregivers. Mrs. Pickard was preceded in death by her father, Ivey C Edwards, mother, Etha Gilmore Edwards, husband of 63 years, Dewey Pickard, son-in-law, Roy May, granddaughter, Marsha L. Davis.

She was formerly of Harriman, TN and has lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Dalton, GA for the last 6 years.

She is survived by her son, James "Jim" Pickard of Harriman, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Judith A. May of Powder Springs, GA, Mary H. and Jerry Bandy of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Teresa and Greg Woodis, Bo Bandy, Donald Pickard, Michael Pickard, Rebecca Bandy and Jesse Barmetller, Christopher May, Candace Pickard; great grandchildren, Reagan Davis Neikirk, Caitlyn Townsend, Cameron Davis, Aleister Bandy; several great grandchildren.

At her request she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
