Mrs. Edna Lee Hill, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1948 in Chatsworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late Dewey and Jennie Marie Tallent.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth Steed Hill of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Delana Hill of Dalton, GA, Tony and Alison Hill of Chatsworth, GA; daughter, Sharon Ledbetter of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy Hales of Dalton, GA, Dianne and Terry Strawser of Chatsworth, GA; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Edna Lee Hill will be held Wednesday August 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Kelly Grant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. She will be laid to rest at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Family Cemetery with Bailey Tankersley, Kyle Reece, Jordan White, Kameron Bramblett, Tyler Edwards and Brent Mitchell serving as pallbearers.
