Mrs. Edna Estalene Gentry Crider, age 85, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her home. She was born February 4, 1936 in Rome, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ted and Dora Hensley Gentry.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nesbitt Crider.

She is survived by her sons Ted Crider, Chuck Crider of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Melinda Henson of Fairmount, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Sue Gentry of Calhoun, GA; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one nephew.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Edna Estalene Gentry Crider will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.  She will be laid to rest in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Shane Henson, Heath Henson, Cameron Crider, Stephen G. Peek, Jose Zulueta and Randy McElrath serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friend at Ponders Calhoun Chapel after 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
