Mrs. Edna Erlene "Jody" Coffey age 80, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday May 18, 2023, at the local hospital, surrounded by her devoted husband and her grandchildren.

Jody was born July 7, 1942, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Floyd and Florence Summer Green.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Green and her sister, Helen Reed.

Jody was a 1960 graduate of Westside High School.  She worked many years as a floral designer and many different crafts, as Coffee's Crafts.  She was a lifelong Christian and a member of Riverbend Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Treen Coffey, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jody will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery and her family will have a private memorial service later.
