Mrs. Edith Frances Wilson, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, December, 8, 2013 at the Ridgewood Manor Health Care. Frances was born February 26, 1928 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Walter J. and Florence Durham Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Seth Thomas Wilson, brother, Thomas Wilson, sister, Valeria Epperson, father of her children, Charles Hilley. She as a member of Highland Church of Christ. She retired from G.T.E. phone company.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Ronald Gowan of Dalton, GA, Joanne and Rickey Allmon of Rome, GA, Judy and Mike Clayton of Sugar Valley, GA; a true friend, Brenda Dobbs; seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Edith Frances Wilson will be held Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Ross Jordon officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband in the West Hill Cemetery with Ryan Hammontree, David Blackburn, Logan Greene, Ron Gowan, Jason Clayton and Brian Gowan serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday.
