Mrs. Edith Louise Brindle, age 83 of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning, February 11, 2017. Louise was born November 10, 1933 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Virgil Andrew and Mary Ellen Capeheart Sosebee. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, H. P. Watts and Albert Brindle, Jr., a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Lew Boff and a brother-in-law, Bill Gibson. Louise was a 1950 graduate of Fairmount High School. Louise was a member of Pleasant Grove (RYO) Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Daniel Chastain of Fairmount, GA, Dianna Brindle of Brooklyn, NY; granddaughter, Amber Chastain; great-grandson, Logan Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Andrew and Sue Sosebee; sister, Shirley Gibson all of Fairmount, GA; special friend and caregiver, Elaine Fowler all of Fairmount, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Edith Louise Brindle will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church, Fairmount, Georgia, with Reverend Lamar Beason, Reverend Reggie Temples and Reverend William Cline officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Kevin Cunningham, Joseph Crider, Charlie Russell, Stephen Chastain, Johnny Sosebee and Fred Welch serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
