Mr. Eddie Arnold Ware, age 84, of Dalton Georgia, departed this life, Monday evening, May 20, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Eddie was born December 28, 1939, in Apison, Tennessee, a son of the late Ed M. and Edith Land Ware. He was also preceded in death by a special nephew, Gregory L. "Greg" Cochran, sisters, Ruby Ware, Louise Ware, Dorothy Cochran and Ruth Ware, brothers, Tommy Ware, Dayton "R. L." Ware, Fred Ware, Ray Ware, Grady Ware and Wayne Ware.

Eddie loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. He loved Elvis, ghost stories and Stephen King. He actually wrote ghost stories.

He is survived by many loving family members that he adored.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Eddie Arnold Ware will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Denny Smith officiating.  He will be laid to rest with his parents at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Catoosa County, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
