Mr. Eddie Howard Releford, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, November 2, 2020 at the local hospital. He was born March 22, 1961 in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, a son of the late Grady and Carolyn Suggs Releford.

He is survived by his companion and caretaker of 29 years, Joan Lay; brothers, William Don Releford, Mark Releford of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and John Smith of Tunnel Hill, GA, Diane and Terry Key of Varnell, GA, Dale and Henry Thompson of Chatsworth, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive.

At his request he will be cremated and a memorial service will be at a later date.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
