Mr. Eddie John "Junior" Hicks Jr., age 50, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, April 15, 2024 at the local hospital. He was born August 11, 1973 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by is father Eddie Hicks Sr.

He is survived by his wife Christina Hicks of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jordan Hicks of Rossville, GA, Alex Hicks and Catleen Tyler of Ohio; mother, Edna Randolph Stoker of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Vickie Hicks of Cohutta, GA, Neal Hicks of Dalton, GA; sister, Tammy Carroll of Dalton, GA; mother-in-law, Vivian Silvers; brother-in-law, William Silvers of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Braydan Hicks, Roselyn Hicks, Layla Hicks.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Eddie John "Junior" Hicks Jr. will be held Thursday April 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Johnny West and Reverend Johnny Carnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Cohutta Hills Community Cemetery with Tommy Hicks, Neal Hicks, William Silvers, Jason Maddron, Josh Sisk and Daniel Miller serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
