Mr. Eddie Rogers Goss, age 69, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  Eddie was born September 5, 1953, in Dalton, Georgia.  He was a 1971 graduate of Valley Point High School.  He retired from Para Chem where he worked for over twenty years.

He was preceded in death by loving wife of forty-two years, Vicki Lynn Goss, who died November 15, 2019, his father, Roland R. Goss and grandparents, Manuel and Maggie Harris Sisson and Paul and Mamie Young Goss.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas Goss; daughters and son-in-law, Carrie and Mike Southerland and Ginger Goss all of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Timothy and Rachel Kepley,  Taylor and Matthew Johnson, Lauren Whitfield and Ashley Whitfield; mother, Sue Sisson Goss of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kennie and Marie Goss of Dalton, GA, Dana and Kim Goss of Harrison, TN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Hicks of Dalton, GA, Larry and Dyann Hicks of Tunnel Hill, GA, and Beverly Hall of Dallas, GA; special friends, Valerie and Randy Shoates of Cedar Bluff, AL; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Eddie Rogers Goss will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Larry Green officiating.  He will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with his family and close friends honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. Noon Friday until the service hour.
