Mr. Earl Lee Manning, age 83, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Wednesday December 2, 2015, at his residence. Earl was born March 23, 1932 in Austell, Georgia a son of the late Lee Arthur and Aurie Belle Redwine Manning. He was also preceded in death by his wife Georgia Lou Harrell Manning, brother, Gerald Manning, sister, Rose Ann Manning Goodson, grandchildren, Hunter Manning, Kevin Holmes. Earl was a very hard working and successful businessman. He enjoyed the outdoors and lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Manning Holmes of Dalton, GA, Linda Manning Farrar (David) of Nashville, TN sons, Joe Manning of Decatur, TN, John Manning (Susan) of Macon, GA;; stepson, James "Frosty" Allen Harrell of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Steven Westfall, Kendra Holmes, DaLyndi Caldwell, Lance Manning, Darrell Callaway, Cody Manning, Jennifer Buckman, Brandy Harrell, Jason Harrell; great grandchildren, Courtney Barnes, Zach Holmes, Lexi Price, Aryana Caldwell, Zavion Harrell, Tristen Harrell, Camden Harrell, Kamri Buckman, Justin Harrell, Brock Harrell; great great grandchildren, Ana Pratt, Zylin Harrell.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Earl Lee Manning will be held Sunday December 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. He will be laid to rest beside his loving wife in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Zachary Holmes, Lance Manning, Cody Manning, Sean Hefner, Payton Hefner, and Steven Westfall serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
