Mr. Dwayne Albert Wood, age 51, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his residence. Dwayne was born October 25, 1963 in Washington, Missouri, a son of the late John Lowe and Julia Mae Holoway Lowe. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Lee Wood and Michael Ray Wood.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Arthur Howard Jr. of Tunnel Hill, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Allen and Tammy Wood of Blue Ridge, GA, William "Bill" J. and Connie E. Wood of Dawnville, GA, Pat Beck of Cedartown, GA, Pam Parker of Dalton, GA; daughter, Amber Wood; his special friend, Jax; several special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Dwayne Albert Wood will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Marlin officiating. The family will receive friends at Unity Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with expenses.
