Mr. Doyle Miller Holder, 78, of Adairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at his home and surrounded by his loving family. Doyle was born June 6, 1936 in Waleska Georgia a son to the late Loyd and Ethel Potts Holder. He was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Carr Holder, a son Gary Lee Holder, a daughter Tammy Lynn Holder, a brother Dillard Holder, sisters; Burma Rush and Wyolene Townsend and a granddaughter Nikki Holder.

Doyle is survived by his sons and daughters in law; Robby and Diane Holder of Cartersville, GA, Joseph "Joey" and Wendy Holder of Adairsville, GA, daughters and son in law; Cathy and Barry Taylor of Carrolton, GA, Shannon Amos of Cartersville, GA. He is also survived by sisters; Polly Ray of Conyers, GA, Ella Mae Lee of Fairburn, GA, Eva Mae Parker of Livingston, TX. He had many grandchildren; Darrell Taylor, Jason Taylor, Staci Youngblood, Lindsy Watson, Chad Taylor, Kristopher Holder, Tonia Ogle, Derek Holder, Dylan Holder, Robby Holder, Lindy Holder, Justin Holder, Lori Amos, Cody Amos, Alex Amos. He also had several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Doyle Miller Holder will be held Sunday July 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Salacoa Baptist Church with Reverend Hoyt Jones officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Joey Holder, Dylan Holder, Kristopher Gary Lee Holder, Tonia Lynn Ogle, Shannon Amos and Bailey Townsend serving as pall bearers. The family will receive friends at the Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
