Mr. Douglas "Erik" Langford, 57, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the local hospital. He was born November 5, 1960 in Oakland, California, a son of the late Bobby Olen and Linda Faye Head Langford.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Kathy Langford of Dalton, GA, Tim and Audry Langford of Calhoun, GA; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Douglas "Erik" Langford will be held Saturday September 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Tim Langford officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
