Mr. Douglas Robert "Doug" Driscoll, Sr., age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday, March 28, 2014 at the local hospital. Doug was born July 28, 1940 in Rochester, New York, a son of the late William and Virginia Jackie Jackson Driscoll. Doug proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was the former owner of Big Buck Enterprises in Calhoun, Georgia, and he specialized in making custom handgun grips.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Driscoll of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Teresa Driscoll of Chatsworth, GA, Doug and Chris Driscoll, Jr. of Fairport, NY; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Randy Holder of Franklin, TN, and Kimberly and Morris Gagliardi of Pompton Plains, NJ; fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
