Dotha Dean Dempsey, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Late Wednesday evening, March 18, 2020 at her home.  She was born August 21, 1934 in Gadsden, AL a daughter of the late Burnett S. and Thelma Little Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Dempsey, sister, Eloise Reed, son-in-law, Jimmy Singleton.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Debbie Turkett of Ft. Myers, FL; daughters and son-in-law, Darlene Singleton of Dalton, GA, Rhunae and Ken Phillips of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy and Jane Lindsey of Piedmont, AL, Ken and Moliene Lindsey of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Diane Marshall of Piedmont, AL; grandchildren, Stephanie and Tom Gable, Mia and Matt Moses, Chad and Angela Turkett, PJ and Jennie Poston, Neisha and Brandon Brophy; 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life service will be held, 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 22, 2020 at Mt. Vernon Methodist Church 597 Lafayette Road Rocky Face, Georgia
