Ms. Dorothy Juanita Carder Youman, 73, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born March 4, 1946 in Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Sharnee Collis, Charles Doby both of Fairmount, Georgia, John Partain of San Antonio, Texas, Wayne Youman of Canton, Georgia, and Katherine Mutter of Fairmount; sisters, Oma Pope of Dalton, and Linda Purcell; step-brother, Johnny Purcell of Calhoun, Georgia; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Dorothy Youman will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Ponders Fairmount Chapel. Reverend Larry Kelley will officiate. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Johnson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Fairmount Chapel.
