Ms. Dorothy Severina Slaven, age 94, of Dalton, GA, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at her home. Dorothy was born August 14, 1922, in No Business, TN; the daughter of the late John and Helen Slaven. Dorothy was also preceded by her brother, Herbert Slaven; sisters, Verda Harris, Thelma Vincent and Helen Phillips.Dorothy loved to played bridge and enjoyed teaching her friends how to play. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Ms. Dorothy Severina Slaven is survived by her sister, Norma Sellenrick of Grand Junction, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Ed Million of Dalton, Ga; grandsons, Eric Million and Edwin Million III of Atlanta, GA; great-grandson, Kyle Million and great- granddaughter, Sabrina Million, of Calhoun, GA. Her dearest friend Sally Johnson, plus many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later time.
