Mrs. Dorothy Pauline Morrison age 85, of Cohutta, GA, departed this life Thursday September 17, 2020 at the Calhoun Health Care. She was born May 27, 1935 in Chatsworth, GA a daughter of the late John and Delia Dillard Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Edward Morrison, sisters, Jessie Craig, Alice Hall, brothers, Roy Porter, John Porter, JC Porter, Dallas Porter, sisters-in-law, Rose Morrison, Cledis Porter.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Morrison of Cohutta, GA, Tony Morrison of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Adam Morrison, Nathen and Savannah Morrison, Meagen and Warren Shepard, Brittny and Jacob Greeson, Mitchell Cox; great grandchildren, Alex, Jewells, Caleb, Edie Monroe.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dorothy Pauline Morrison will be held Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Neil Hasty and Reverend Keely Hasty officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitmire Cemetery at Dogwood Valley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
