Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell age 92, of Dalton, GA departed this life Wednesday July 8, 2020. She was born August 13, 1927 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Stewart Patton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Mitchell, sons, William "Sonny" Hightower, Paul "Larry" Hightower, brother and sister-in-law, Garland and Ollie Patton, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Arthur Smith, Elmae and Lock Bold,
Rosa and Ojar Ekstedt, Betty Hyde.
She is survived by her children, Brenda A. Barrett, Linda Brown, Danny Carter; special friend, Bobby Ruff; special pet, TJ; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and
nephews.
Graveside service will be held Saturday July 18, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. from the United Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed to the family at
